The start point for the best source of fleet information

Hannah Bishop of Infiniti Europe answers Barker's Dozen

Date: 23 December 2013

Winning the lottery and an armed forces bank holiday? Infiniti's fleet sales manager faces 13 probing questions
Hannah Bishop, Fleet Sales Manager for Infiniti Europe

1. What was your first job?

My first job was as a Saturday girl in a barbers at the age of 14 - and I haven't stopped working since.

2. What was your first company car?

My first company car was a Peugeot 508.

3. What did you listen to on your last car journey?

I usually have my iPod on shuffle so it could be anything from house music to Motown to Dolly Parton or Frank Ocean. The new XX album is always a favourite when I have a long drive.

4. What one thing do you wish you could do better?

I wish I found it easier to say "no" to people.

5. What's your biggest achievement?

Being able to say I was part of the Infiniti brand at such an exciting stage. Being responsible for introducing the new Q50 to the fleet market is an honour. The D-segment market is dominated by the German brands so launching a real alternative is certainly causing a stir.

6. Who are your role models?

My family have always been my role models. My parents have instilled in me a great work ethic; my brothers, being military, have influenced my 'Just do it, whatever it takes' attitude, which helps me every day. On a professional basis, I admire Karren Brady and all she has achieved. She is a great role model for the young professional woman - proving that you can succeed, even in a typically 'man's' world.

7. What's the stupidest thing you've done?

After a business meeting in Paris recently I left my passport on the plane when coming home. It took an hour of interrogation by some very burly security personnel before I was let back into the country!

8. What was the most hotly debated topic at your last meeting?

Structuring a Pan-European deal and joining the families of Nissan, Renault and Infiniti to present an all-encompassing comprehensive offer to our customers.

9. What's in your garage?

Bikes, a massage table, camping equipment and paint.

10. What's the worst thing about your job?

Not enough hours in the day.

11. What one law would you make or change?

I would make the Monday after Remembrance Sunday or Armed Forces Day a national bank holiday.

12. What keeps you awake at night?

Deciding how I would spend the money if I won the lottery, which I believe I will every week.

13. Who is your ideal celebrity date?

Tom Hardy. He is a brilliant actor but also very easy on the eye.
