1 What was your first job?
Filling freezers at a frozen food chain Cordon Bleu in Stockport.
2 What was your first company car?
A Rover 2600 SD1. Lovely!
3 What did you listen to on your last car journey?
The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Radio 2.
4 What one thing do you wish you could do better?
Speak another language, especially Spanish as I like to spend as much time as I can in Spain
5 What's your biggest achievement?
A good home life, two great children, a wonderful wife, and two grandchildren.
6 Who are your role models?
Margaret Thatcher: if it needs to be done, do it!
7 What's the stupidest thing you've done?
Bought a house that I should never have done.
8 What was the most hotly debated topic at your last meeting?
Provenance data.
9 What's in your garage?
The wine rack, and a load of junk that needs a sort out.
10 What's the worst thing about your job?
Managing the time to see everybody that we need to.
11 What one law would you make or change?
Touring caravans can only be towed on the road between the hours of 11pm
and 6am.
12 What keeps you awake at night?
Worrying about when the mighty Stockport County's next win will come.
13 Who is your ideal celebrity date?
Claudia Schiffer. Best to have some glamour with my pie and chips.
