1 What was your first job?
My first role in the industry was as a customer relations consultant for Volvo Car UK, which I got straight out of university. It was an extremely rewarding role because I got to help customers on a daily basis and gave me a solid foundation in the company.
2 What was your first company car, and what do you drive now?
It was a Volvo S40 and I am currently driving an XC60 R-Design in Ice White.
3 What did you listen to on your last car journey?
Lots of podcasts! I am a film buff so enjoy listening to Radio 5 Live's Kermode and Mayo Film Review.
4 What do you wish you could do better?
Be more patient.
5 What's your biggest achievement?
Becoming a father.
6 What are your three favourite films?
The Shawshank Redemption, Schindler's List and Inception.
7 What's the stupidest thing you've done?
That would have to be the day I booked a meeting in another country to then find out (on arrival) that it was a public holiday and the office was closed
8 What was the most hotly debated topic at your last meeting?
The latest business sales targets.
9 What would be your specialist subject on Mastermind?
The life and times of Peter Mandelson.
10 What's the worst thing about your job?
Being away from the family.
11 What one law would you make or change?
To not change the clocks backwards and forwards.
12 What did you want to be when you grew up?
Randomly enough, an oil tanker skipper.
13 Who is your ideal celebrity date?
Sir Clive Woodward. I'm a massive rugby fan and would like to get his insight into team management and winning the world cup with England.
