Lee Wolstenholme of Vehicle Consulting answers Barker's Dozen

1 What was your first job?

I have worked in vehicle leasing ever since I left school and didn't have a paper round or similar prior to that.

2 What was your first company car, and what do you drive now?

My first was a Fiat Tipo, which I still think of fondly, but nowadays I drive either my Nissan Leaf or diesel Maserati Ghibli, a slightly more stimulating Italian car.

3 What did you listen to on your last car journey?

I'm an avid sports fan and also like to keep up to date with the latest news and debates in general, so I'm afraid I'll have to say BBC Radio 5 Live.

4 What one thing do you wish you could do better?

Boxing is one of my main passions, so if I could do it over again, I'd dearly love to be a professional boxer, especially coming from Manchester, home to Hatton and Fury.

5 What's your biggest achievement?

My three children bring me great pride (most of the time, anyway!) but a personal standout was meeting Her Majesty the Queen in Manchester in connection with keeping employment open for armed forces personnel.

6 What are your three favourite films?

Not really coming as a surprise, Rocky is one of my all-time favourites, along with The Wolf of Wall Street for a bit of finance and glamour, and The Shawshank Redemption when I want something emotionally deeper.

7 What's the stupidest thing you've done?

My dad will laugh at this when he reads it: it's got to be when I accidentally set our family settee on fire with matches when I was a young child.

8 What was the most hotly debated topic at your last meeting?

Business expansion - as we've really grown in recent years and it's easy to get carried away, a reality check is needed at times, along with a unified direction.

9 What would be your specialist subject on Mastermind?

Films, as I've got a geeky memory of who starred in what, the years they were released and which interesting cars appeared in them.

10 What's the worst thing about your job?

There are quite simply not enough hours in a day and even though I have a fantastic PA, I could do with cloning myself, partly so I wouldn't end up glued to the desk all day.

11 What one law would you make or change?

Having seen more and more 20mph zones introduced, for good reason, I think the motorway speed limit should be increased to 80mph or even derestricted, autobahn style, in certain places.

12 What did you want to be when you grew up?

Boxing didn't begin to play a large part in my life until later, so while I was growing up, I actually wanted to be a pilot, especially a transatlantic one.

13 Who is your ideal celebrity date?

Eva Mendes (pictured) because she's inspirationally involved in so many things, from acting and modelling to singing and designing her own fashion collection.
