BusinessCar Awards 2014 - Large 4x4: Range Rover Sport

The new Range Rover Sport is not only a step up compared with the first-generation model, but also against its competitors. Fleets have clearly recognised this and voted it Large 4x4 of the 2014 in the BusinessCar Awards.
Being based on the same platform as the 'regular' Range Rover means that the Sport has true off-road skills thanks to some amazing engineering and technology. And while many will never take their Range Rover Sport as off road as it will go, the comfort of these features can even help on-road driving.
For example, the manufacturer makes a particular point of the wading depth detector that is particularly useful on flooded roads.
The new vehicle is also much lighter than its predecessor, and is subsequently more efficient - at least at a relative level - given the size and capability.
However, the Range Rover Sport also has two other key abilities: the first is that it drives in an engaging fashion on-road, while the second is that it is the most luxurious car in its class, even in standard form. This is thanks to an impeccably styled cabin and superb refinement.
The overall result is a long waiting list and excellent RVs.
