Auto Windscreens has toppled a giant this year, with Autoglass having dominated the Windscreens category for an astonishing
13 years in a row. It's a huge success story, with Auto Windscreens rising from the ashes of 2011's administration to return as a major player in the industry.
It's been a busy year with big contract wins, including a deal with TCH Leasing as the glass supplier for its entire fleet of 5300 vehicles.
The company also appointed Chris Thornton as its new managing director in the spring, and most of its growth is from the insurance and fleet industry.
Auto Windscreens works with its fleet partners to create bespoke solutions. The creation of a microsite within Ogilvie Fleet's own website to make it easier for fleets to book a repairer is a perfect example of how the firm operates.
