The web app is compatible with Android, Apple, Blackberry and Windows devices, and makes
it much easier for drivers to record their mileage information, making the process electronic on their smartphone.
Drivers can also book in their next service because the app can be tailored to each individual's registration number and will direct them to the closest nominated dealership or independent garage.
The judges were impressed with the app's seamless integration of service and MoT booking and vehicle inspection data with Fleet Alliance's web-based fleet management and reporting suite e-Fleet. It means fleet managers can access their reporting tools through their smartphone 24/7.
Autosonshow.tv was highly commended for its Inspect & Collect app that lets inspectors record a video of vehicles they are inspecting and guides them with on-screen prompts to capture damage. The app can also take photos to record specific damage before uploading all information online for clients to access.
