The BusinessCar Fleet Technology Awards - otherwise known as the Techies, the ultimate awards for corporate car technology - are back for 2016.
Launched today, entries are now invited for the contest to find the best and most innovative solutions, widgets and gadgets available in the company car market that help UK fleets with their daily operations.
The only dedicated technology awards for the company car industry are now in their eighth year and they recognise the modern systems and processes that impact every area of business car operators' daily lives, whether that be apps, fleet management, remarketing, daily rental, telematics, maintenance or the vehicles themselves.
A total of 10 categories will be assessed, the full list of which can be seen in the table below along with last year's winners. Extensive details of why these businesses and products won can be found here.
If you're a car manufacturer, supplier to the fleet industry or fleet operator and you feel a particularly clever piece of kit deserves recognition, then let us know why.
As always, we love to hear from the business car market at large about which products, services and initiatives are helping make managing a fleet cleaner, cheaper, greener or just basically easier.
The awards will be judged by BusinessCar's expert editorial panel, which has decades of industry experience behind them. Their decisions ensure the results highlight the things that really make a difference to the fleet community.
We feel the categories reflect the way in which the industry is heading, while there is also an Editor's Choice Award for an entry that deserves special recognition.
To enter the awards, send an email with the subject line 'Techies' to editorial@businesscar.co.uk and include a description of no more than 300 words of your organisation's product, service or piece of technology.
The closing date for entries is 5pm on 1 July 2016, and winners will be announced in BusinessCar's 23 August issue and simultaneously on BusinessCar.co.uk.
