BMW reveals 3-series convertible

Date: 24 October 2006

BMW has revealed the convertible version of the new 3-series that will go on sale in the UK in March.

Prices will initially start from £33,030 for the 218PS 325i and rise to £37,895 for the 306PS 335i. However, BMW has already confirmed the range will later be extended to include smaller petrol-engined versions and diesel-powered versions.

The convertible will be the first time BMW has offered a car with a power-folding hard-top roof that can be raised or lowered in 22 seconds.

Boot space with the roof up is 350 litres, and with the roof down 210 litres.
