Connaught signs huge Vauxhall deal

Date: 12 September 2006

Social housing provider, Connaught, has signed a massive £18m exclusive deal with Vauxhall.

Worth 1200 vans, the deal was struck following a nine-month evaluation with Vauxhall and other rival manufacturers.

Vauxhall will now supply LWB and SWB Vivaros for maintenance roles operated over three years and 67,000 miles.

"Vauxhall won hands down and came out top in virtually every criteria we used in the evaluation process, including whole-life costs, reliability and health and safety", said Connaught's Mike Hill.
