Government planning CO2 target bill

A climate change bill setting CO2 reduction targets is likely to be included in the November's Queen's speech, according to reports.
The Government is considering regular reduction targets, including an independent monitoring system to assess progress, as climate change becomes an increasingly topical issue.
There's no indication yet of when the bill could become law, or how strict the targets would be.
