The start point for the best source of fleet information |
The new Mini narrowly missed out on making its debut in London and is instead, expected to premier at Paris motor show end of September.
According to Smithers, plans are already underway.
"With the next model we want to grow the franchise - not just produce loads of hatches and convertibles. The best way to grow is through product diversity," With insiders already confirming the go-ahead for a third model in the range, expected to be based around the Mini 'Traveller' estate concept. Smithers added: "A new model will provide new fleet opportunities as it will be more relevant to more customers.
"We have plans for moderate growth, whilst maintaining the supply and demand equilibrium. In the next few years 25-27% of all Mini's sold will go to fleet."
