NCAP reveals safety flaws

Date: 02 August 2006

The latest round of Euro NCAP crash tests has highlighted safety problems with two of the four cars tested. Nissan's Note will be recalled after an Isofix mounting broke in the side impact test, while Toyota's Rav4 airbags fired late in the frontal test. These, plus Land Rover's Discovery scored four out of five for occupant safety, with Chevrolet's Kalos scoring three.
