New diesel on the way

Mitsubishi is developing an all-new high-tech 2.0-litre diesel to replace the Volkswagen and DaimlerChrysler engines the Japanese firms currently use. The 2.0-litre engine will be powering cars by 2010 and could be basis for developing a hybrid model.
