New Seat performance king

Date: 19 July 2006

Seat's most powerful passenger car in its history is being given its world debut at this week's British International Motor Show at ExCeL in London. The Leon Cupra is powered by a turbocharged 240PS 2.0-litre engine, and is being shown in London ahead of a UK launch next January. The VW-owned Spanish brand is claiming its new hot hatch will go from 0-62mph in 6.4 seconds, and onto 153mph. Pricing is tipped to be set around the £20,000 mark.
