Octavia vRS goes diesel

Skoda has revealed a diesel version of the high-performance Octavia vRS. Powered by a 170PS 2.0-litre TDI engine, the car can return 48.7mpg and has a 0-62mph time of 8.5secs. The hatch costs £18,370 and the estate costs £19,220.
