Peugeot reveals 207CC

Date: 07 December 2006

Peugeot has uncovered the successor to its popular 206CC. The 207CC will go on sale in the UK in March 2007.

Power for the new convertible 207 will initially come from a choice of three engines: a 120PS 1.6 petrol, a 150PS 1.6 turbo-petrol and a 110PS 1.6-litre diesel.

The powered folding hard-top is now a one-button fully automated roof, with Peugeot engineers removing the need for a manual release handle - as in the 206CC.

Safety has also been improved with the 207CC featuring five airbags and a three-point child-seat Isofix system for the front passenger seat.

Boot space is a respectable 449 litres with the roof up and 187 litres with the roof retracted.

Prices will be revealed nearer the car's March on sale date.
