Skoda extra power is Superb

Date: 21 December 2006

Skoda has introduced a new 1.9 diesel engine to its Superb model, with the 115PS 1.9 replacing the previous 105PS unit of the same size.

Despite the extra power, prices remain the same, with the new engine starting from £14,850 for the Classic trim level.

The company has also confirmed that an all-new Superb will be launched in June 2008, six months behind the estate version of the new Fabia, which gets a first launch in the UK next May in five-door hatchback form.
