Amazon deposed by Toyota's first V8 diesel

Toyota will replace its Amazon 4x4 flagship in January with the new Land Cruiser V8, powered by the company's first V8 diesel.
Likely to cost over £50,000, there will be a single high-spec model. The 285PS engine, claimed to pioneer common-rail technology on a V8 diesel, replaces the 4.2-litre diesel in the current Land Cruiser Amazon.
