Audi has dropped its 1.6 FSI engine in the A3 and replaced it with a next generation small capacity turbo.
The new 125PS 1.4 TFSI engine first made its debut under the bonnet of the Golf.
Quicker, more fuel efficient and less polluting than the old car the A3 boasts a 0-62mph time of under ten seconds, averages 43.5mpg and slots into the 17 % BIK tax bracket. Prices begin at £16,365.
