Audi reveals hybrid Q7

Date: 13 November 2007

Audi has launched a two-part initiative aimed at reducing the environmental impact of its Q7 4x4 with a petrol-electric hybrid version.

Ahead of the hybrid's expected launch at the end of next year will be the immediate introduction of a revised 3.0-litre TDI version.

The V6, 3.6-litre petrol powered variant, mated to an electric motor located in the drivetrain, generates a claimed 23% cut in CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
