BMW X6 to debut at Frankfurt show

BMW's Frankfurt motor show will be dominated by the unveiling of the X6 sports off-road coupe.
The car will be officially revealed on Tuesday 9 September at 9am, however the German firm has released an online teaser video including an interview with BMW design boss Chris Bangle.
The X6 is being portrayed as an X5 (and is based on the X5) for those who don't need the room and want a more sporty looking car. Although called a coupe by BMW the X6 is a four door car.
Although pricing has yet to be decided, expect the new BMW to be similar in cost to that of the X5.
