Chevy reveals new supermini

Chevrolet will take the covers off this new supermini badged Aveo at the Frankfurt motor show this September, with the car going on sale in the UK in spring 2008.
Chevrolet claims the Aveo's interior has a "completely new, high-class cabin" and that the exterior shows a new look for future Chevrolet models.
Two engines will be offered at launch - a new fuel-efficient 84PS 1.2 petrol, and an 98PS 1.4 available with automatic gearbox.
More details are expected about the car's emissions and economy figures when the Aveo is unveiled next month.
