CV SHOW: Toyota reveals hot Hilux

Date: 23 April 2007

Toyota will tomorrow unveil a 200PS version of the iconic Hilux at the CV Show.

The concept version of the Hilux uses a chipped version of 3.0-litre diesel engine with increased power, larger alloys and F1-inspired colour scheme. The concept Hilux also features a US-spec pick-up top, tinted windows and chrome grille and pillars.

The standard 3.0-litre Hilux produces 170PS and rides on 16 inch alloys.

As yet, there are now plans to offer the 200PS version in the UK.
