Doubling users is the aim for online fleet funding tool

Toomey Opticar is looking to add up to 3000 new drivers to its online Optifleet car and driver management tool following a successful 18 months since launch that has seen 3500 drivers added across eight or nine accounts.
The system, claimed to be unique, enables fleets to mix and match different types of business, allowing the individual driver to assess funding methods, including employee car ownership, contract hire and PCP. Optifleet can be tweaked according to individual fleet parameters on levels including type or brand of car, cash allowance, emissions or economy limits.
"It enables fleets to mix and match," said managing director Peter Eldon. "For example, with fleets of 100 cars that are all ECO, there will be a number of people who would be better off in contract hire, but getting an under-one-roof solution isn't easy. Even at FD level people struggle to get it right. From the driver's perspective they can see on-screen what is the lowest cost tax option."
