DRIVER TRAINING: Avoid freezing at dangerous moments

Date: 15 March 2007

Award-winning driver training firm Drive & Survive has been seeing a leading psychologist to help combat drivers' lethal habit of freezing in the moment of emergency.

Stress expert, Hunter Kane, has helped Drive & Survive create new training courses that specifically teach drivers how to avoid hesitation in an emergency situation.

The two-day course costs from £170 per driver and involves both on-road defensive driving and psychological conditioning classes to train participants to regulate breathing and improve reactions.
