Fleet sales on target to beat 2006

Date: 07 December 2007

Business car registrations look set to record another year of growth as we close in on the end of 2007.

With a month to go, fleet volumes are up by 3.1%, again outpointing retail sales, which are running at 1.9% up on the first 11 months of 2006.

In November, 84,782 fleet models were registered, 2.5% up on November 2006, with BMW, Mini, Honda, Peugeot and Kia among those enjoying a good month. Lexus, Toyota and Ford were heading in the other direction.

Vauxhall topped the sales chart while the top model, the Ford Focus, beat Vauxhall's Astra by 61 units.
