Ford upgrades S-max and Galaxy

S-max gains new engine/gearbox combination

Ford has revised its S-max and Galaxy MPVs with anti-skid control now fitted as standard across the range as well as a new version of its 2.0-litre diesel with automatic gearbox and new equipment.

The new six-speed auto' is linked to a 130PS version of Ford's 2.0-litre TDCi engine. Prices for this version of the BusinessCar Awards winning duo start at £19,959 for the S-max, while the Galaxy costs from £21,995.

Inside, both MPVs gain a new control system similar to that used in the new Mondeo. A Ford spokesman said: "The human machine interface system, now consists of three different levels of cluster displays. The new full colour Ford HMI system which features a full colour six-inch screen will be fitted as standard to the S-max Titanium model."
