GENEVA SHOW: Ford freshens C-max

Date: 19 February 2007

Ford has revealed further details of its facelifted C-max five-seat mini-MPV.

Going on sale in April, the car will have its second public unveiling at the Geneva motor show at the start of March. The car was first unvieled at the Bologna show in November 2006.

The revised C-max not only gains a new look externally, but also gains a much revised interior, new options, tweaked suspension and a revised engine line-up.

Inside the C-max gains a better quality interior with new handbrake, MP3 player socket, larger cup holder and new interior lighting.

New options include bendy headlights and a panoramic glass roof.

The updated C-max will be available with a choice of three petrol (1.6, 1.8, 2.0) and three diesel (1.6, 1.8, 2.0) engines plus a 1.8-litre bio-ethanol powered engine.
