GENEVA SHOW: Maserati unveils Coupe replacement

Date: 06 March 2007

Italian manufacturer Maserati has chosen Geneva to launch its delectable replacement for its long-in-the-tooth Coupe.

Dubbed, GranTurismo, the 405PS 4.2 V8 coupe has already proved a show hit, and when it hits the road it promises not to disappoint, sprinting to 60mph in just 5.2secs and topping out at almost 180mph.

Pricing is expected to be in the region of £80,000 when the GranTurismo goes on sale. Sadly, there are no plans for a tax-efficient diesel.
