The start point for the best source of fleet information

Kwik-Fit changes tyred look

Date: 03 April 2007

Kwik-Fit has unveiled an all-new look as part of a re-brand for its mobile operation.

The blue, white and yellow logo makes its debut on 23 recently purchased Mercedes Sprinter vans and follows a record year for the company that saw revenues grow by a quarter to £50 million.

The latest vans incorporate all the latest tyre-changing technology, including the ability to change tyres on huge 22-inch rims.

The new livery will be rolled out on the remaining 200-strong mobile van fleet.

Operations boss Simon Lucas said the fast-fit firm is keen to promote mobile fitting further to business, stressing the service offers "maximum convenience and minimum vehicle downtime".

Lucas also believes the mobile fitting arm of Kwik-Fit will continue to expand as "time pressure on business drivers coupled with a growing focus on road safety increases, resulting in more businesses applying rigorous health and safety policies that include tyre safety checks".
