Land Rover extends offset

Date: 06 August 2007

Range Rover Sport

Four-wheel drive manufacturer, Land Rover, has given its drivers the opportunity to further offset their car's environment impact.

The CO2 offset scheme was introduced last September and offset the first 45,000 miles of motoring but according to Land Rover, was so successful its customers were calling for further extensions.

Managed by Climate Care, carbon emissions can be further neutralised for 15,000 or 45,000 miles and can even be applied to pre-2007 vehicles.

The cost of offsetting varies from vehicle to vehicle and can be calculated on www.climatecare.org.uk/landrover.
