Manheim holds world's largest CV auction

Manheim Auctions new four-lane auction centre in Colchester will double the number of vehicles being shown to customers at prime selling times and raise the facility's annual capacity to over 170,000 vehicles a year.
To mark its inauguration Manheim will hold what it claims is the world's largest commercial vehicle auction on 7 November when 700 vehicles from leading fleets, leasing companies and vehicle manufacturers go under the hammer.
The sale will be broadcast on the Manheim Live internet site allowing for remote bids and buying to contribute to an auction process that potentially can sell four vehicles every minute.
