More London councils impose CO2-based parking permits

Camden and Haringey have joined Richmond Council to impose resident permits based on emissions.

In Camden, cars slotting into the highest tax band attract an extra £60 over the existing £90 charged.

Tower Hamlets and Lambeth are also said to be considering the scheme.
