National adds Iveco Dailys

National Car Rental is incorporating 170 3.5-tonne Iveco Daily vans in its national fleet of 5000 LCVs through Iveco distributor Guest Trucks.
Although Iveco only accounts for a small proportion of National Car Rental's total van fleet, National's fleet vice president Tim Bailey said the brand's vehicles represented just under than one-third of the rental operation's 3.5-tonners and commanded strong residual values.
Due to be delivered by the end of this year, the 2.3-litre 116PS diesel-powered vans combine ABS and EBD to slow the vehicle from 60mph to a standstill in 42 metres, road surfaces permitting.
