BMW has revealed pictures and pricing of the production version of its new sporty off-roader the X6 together with a video of the 4x4 in action.
The X6, which will be formally unveiled at the Detroit motor show in January and arrives in the UK in May,, is aimed at BMW X5 drivers who want a sportier drive and don't want ultimate carrying capability.
The X6, a strict four seater, is based on X5 underpinnings. The new BMW bravely introduces svelte coupe lines to the off-road class and, according to the German firm, will introduce the finest drive too.
Thanks to super clever 4x4 hardware and the addition of 'Dynamic Performance Control', the X6 is able to shuffle torque not only between front and rear axles but side to side too, ensuring power is always transferred to the road as efficiently as possible when exiting a bend or pulling away.
