Nissan's tax-saving engines unveiled

Date: 02 April 2007

Nissan has revealed two new engine technologies that will benefit business users.

Nissan is claiming the systems, dubbed VVEL and C-VTC, can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 10%, while fuel efficiency, power and engine response are all improved.

The first car to debut the technology will be the all-new G37 coupe from Infiniti, Nissan's luxury sister brand, which will appear at the New York motor show this month.

The G37 is expected to spearhead the Infiniti brand's UK invasion in 18-months' time.
