Petrol hits £1

Petrol has passed the £1 per litre mark, according to the AA.

However, figures from leading fuel card supplier Arval, which uses data from company fuel cards, shows that last week petrol was at 98.7ppl. Petrol prices, though, are still rising and it seems likely Arval's figure will pass the £1 barrier in the next few weeks.
