The start point for the best source of fleet information

Platinum snapped up

Date: 01 May 2007

Wakefield-based Platinum Fleet Management has been bought up by MNH Vehicle Contracts in what has been described by insiders as an "undisclosed seven figure sum".

The merger creates a new company, MNH Platinum, boasting a fleet size in excess of 10,000 vehicles.

The board of directors will be a majority of MNH directors with only Platinum sales boss Steve Barraclough elected to the board.

Barraclough said: "This is an excellent opportunity for Platinum to reach new heights. We have taken on a new name and added new resources. We will only be able to service our current clients better but we will be able to target fresh business in new areas."
