Risk management firms merge

Date: 01 October 2007

Driver assessment and risk management companies Drivetech (UK) and Driving Services have merged.

For now, the two will continue as separate businesses, with a review next year to "ensure that the merged businesses are operating to their fullest potential", according to the announcement.

Driving Services founder and owner Doug Jenkins joins the Drivetech board as executive director for strategic sales development with immediate effect, and the Driving Services offices in Cheshire will be closed and relocated to the Drivetech HQ in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

"It's not just the merger of any two businesses - it is a merger of two market-leading successful debt-free and profitable companies," said Drivetech founder and chairman Chris Howell.
