Volvo estate pricing and biofuel engine revealed

Date: 26 June 2007

v70

Volvo has revealed pricing for its new V70 and XC70 ranges.

Simplified to just SE, SE Sport and SE Lux trim levels the V70 pricing starts from £26,495 for the 200PS petrol 2.5 turbo, £1500 more than the S80 saloon it's based on. The all-wheel drive XC70 will be available with just the 185PS D5 diesel and 238PS 3.2 petrol. Pricing begins at £33,600 for a D5 SE.

Following on from the September launch are a pair of fuel-efficient four-cylinder engines, including the 140PS 2.0-litre diesel from the C30 and the firm's first ever biofuel engine due in December.
