Allibon named new Mazda fleet boss

Date: 08 December 2008

Mazda has named Peter Allibon as its new fleet and remarketing boss.

Allibon replaces James Hopkins, who is moving to take control of the brand's newly set up European fleet team.

Allibon starts the job on the 22 December and moves to the role from Mazda's credit department, where he has been for the past two and a half years. Allibon brings experience in business financing, fleet operations and contract hire to the role.

Hopkins had previously been working in both UK and European fleet roles, but will now concentrate solely on Europe. He will be targeting sales in six countries, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, the Netherlands and Spain.

Corporate will account for 10% of Mazda's European sales, with half of those going to the UK.
