Astra tops Lex list

BusinessCar Award winner Lex has released its list of the most popular models in its fleet in 2007.
Although Ford's Focus came out on top of the overall 2007 sales figures list published by the SMMT, the Vauxhall Astra was the most popular car in Lex's fleet of 273,503 vehicles.
Big rises in Lex's survey were seen for the Audi A3 and Ford's Mondeo, neither of which featured in the top 10 last time the survey was carried out in 2005.
The survey will not make for good reading at Volkswagen. Its Golf, which topped the list in both 2004 and 2005, now lies in ninth place.
