Auctions firm BCA grabs two new deals

Date: 21 February 2008

BCA has announced two new contracts.

The first, with General Motors, is a three-year deal that will see 10,000 cars and vans pass through auction halls by the end of 2010, while the second, with BT Fleet, puts a further 3000 cars through in 2008.

The GM deal extends BCA's exclusive partnership with the brand to nine years, while the BT collaboration is in addition to an existing BCA deal for remarketing the communication firm's van fleet.

"BCA has always proved to be a first-class remarketing partner, achieving strong prices and delivering a swift and efficient service for our commercial vehicle sales," said BT Fleet's head of vehicle sales Ann Wragg.

"We are delighted to confirm that BCA is also handling our management and business-needs cars in volume for the first time."
