Awards 2008 - Fleet Management: Lex
22 January 2008
It's the double for Lex, which has added the Fleet Management award to its prize for top leasing company.
And managing director Jon Walden is under no illusions as to the importance of the twin win.
"The value of the BusinessCar awards is that they are voted for by readers - that's so important. Never underestimate the power of your customers," he said.
And on the fleet management side Lex has been working hard to make life easier for its customers, a fact which shows in its third consecutive fleet management gong.
The firm flexed its muscles in 2007 with a new customer service monitoring index that provides a daily review of how dealers are treating their customers in a move to lift service levels. It also pushed the green agenda last year by calling for fleet managers to ask for more from their suppliers.
Walden wants the whole industry to co-operate in an attempt to improve fleets' green credentials. "Contract hire providers, manufacturers, fleet suppliers and even fuel-card companies should all be swapping information and processes in a bid to make a difference," he said.
But Lex seems to be the fleet management provider making the difference to your fleet, and we offer our congratulations on this award.
