CV SHOW: Transit Connect expands Ford's Sportvan range

Ford has grown its Sportvan range with the addition of a sporty Transit Connect.
First shown at last year's Commercial Vehicle Show as a concept, the production version of the mid-size Sportvan will be revealed today at this year's CV Show.
The Transit Connect Sportvan will go on sale in September powered by a 110PS version of Ford's 1.8-litre TDCi diesel.
Prices have yet to be revealed, but Ford will limit production to just 300 examples.
Over and above the standard Transit Connect SWB 220 is the addition of body coloured bumpers, side skirts, roof spoiler, silver door mirrors, chrome exhaust finisher and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The newest Sportvan is available in Ford's performance blue with Ford GT-style white stripes.
Interior kit includes leather seats, anti-lock brakes, traction control, parking sensors, aircon, powered mirrors and windows, six-CD stereo and Bluetooth phone connection.
