Fiat reveals new Panda Cross

Date: 11 August 2008

No, it's not an angry Panda, but the new version of the Panda 4x4 with beefed-up suspension and a new-look body kit.

Powered by Fiat's 70PS 1.3-litre engine, the tiny off-roader sits at the top of the Panda range costing £11,995. However, Fiat claims that it is also the UK's cheapest new 4x4 on the market.

The Panda Cross comes with anti-skid control, aircon, aux socket and CD stereo with steering-wheel mounted controls.

On sale now, the Panda Cross is capable of 42.1mpg and has a CO2 output of 136g/km.
