Coventry City Council has taken delivery of a new fully electric smart car.
The delivery is part of a UK based trial for the introduction of a fully electric smart and is the first of 100 to be provided by smart.
The car, which is 100% electric, yet retains all the safety equipment found on a regular Smart Fortwo such as ABS brakes, ESP and airbags.
The council will be using the car as part of their fleet of pool vehicles.
