Date: 10 September 2008

Graham Avent

Honda has completed a revision of its fleet department under the leadership of Graham Avent, who took over at the start of the year.

Reporting to Avent is a team of four managers. Lee Wheeler is national leasing manager and will look after the to 50 leasing firms. Ollie Parsons is the national corporate sales manager who will look after fleets running more than 100 vehicles. Dave Girling is national dealer corporate manager who will run Honda's 92 business dealerships which in turn will sell to smaller, local fleets. Andrew Wale is corporate aftersales manager and will manage the brands residual values and SMR costs.

Honda claims an increase in corporate sales of 17% this year coming from an 11.9% increase in the number of customers.

Last year the firm set a target of 40,000 fleet registrations for 2008. The brand looks set to hit that target, sales to the end of August were at 28,713.
