Hyundai plans quartet of new fleet measures

Date: 06 August 2008

Value brand Hyundai is understood to be planning a host of measures to improve its business sales fortunes.

The Korean manufacturer has already struck a deal to form Hyundai Contract Hire with the back-office functions powered by Masterlease.

The brand is also working on a new corporate sales network consisting of 40 dealers, developing an affinity scheme for large businesses, and a setting up a business networking club for local small businesses.

Corporate sales boss Jeff Peyton-Bruhl refused to go into details and only said: "We're not expecting immediate growth. This is a three-year project to set up, with real growth in years four, five and six. It's about making the Hyundai dealer the local dealer of choice for businesses."
